Michelle Deck - Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist

is a New York State-certified speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience. She holds a BS from the University of Maryland and an MA/TSSLD from Hofstra University. In addition to her work as a tenured SLP with the NYC Board of Education, she provides evaluations and treatment through NYS Early Intervention. Michelle specializes in speech, language, and academic support for children from birth to high school. She is trained in multiple reading and writing programs, such as Fundations, Orton-Gillingham approaches, and The Writing Revolution. Michelle combines her expertise in communication with a passion for mentoring to strengthen reading, writing, and problem-solving skills. As a mom of two, she understands the importance of individualized support and is committed to helping each child reach their full potential.

Jessica Booher - Speech-Language Pathologist

Jessica is a New York State certified speech and language pathologist. Jessica proudly received her BS from St. John’s University and her MS/TSSLD from Touro University. Jessica is a speech and language pathologist at a Title One elementary and middle school with the NYC board of education.  Her therapy targets expressive/receptive language delays, fluency, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, learning disabilities, apraxia, ADD and ADHD, pragmatic and social skills, executive functioning disabilities, literacy, reading and writing deficits, and math skills. Jessica uses her knowledge of communication skills to enhance reading and writing skills, including comprehension, organization, and written output. Her background in speech also allows Jessica to tackle underlying comprehension deficits related to math word problems and the breakdown of math concepts. Jessica loves working with children of all ages.

Juliana Magardino - Speech-Language Pathologist

Juliana Magardino is a New York State licensed and American Speech Language Hearing (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware and her Master of Science from CUNY Hunter College. She is employed in a New York City Title I School and has experience working with younger children through Early Intervention. Juliana's therapy targets school-aged students (K-8) who require support in various areas, including expressive/receptive delays, articulation disorders, phonological awareness difficulties, learning disabilities, pragmatic skills, reading comprehension, writing, and literacy skills. I have training in various reading programs such as SPIRE, Sound Sensible, Lively Letters, and other Orton Gillingham based approaches.

Lindsay Gottlieb - Speech-Language Pathologist

Lindsay Gottlieb received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of Florida and her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Hunter College and has extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, addressing speech and language disorders. Lindsay is a tenured speech-language pathologist with the NYC board of education, and has worked with children ranging in age from 3-20. She takes pride in fostering a supportive, fun, and encouraging environment where her clients can thrive and achieve their communication goals.

Becca Muriel - Speech Language Pathologist

Rebecca has been a dedicated Speech Therapist for 5 years now. She received her BS from Syracuse University and her MA at Florida Atlantic University. She has a passion for fostering early childhood development. Her experience is with children from Pre-K all the way to 12th grade with a special focus in Elementary school aged children. Her approach combines engaging activities to support language development, social communication and overall academic preparedness. Whether it's language development, articulation, or fluency, she is here to help your child reach their communication goals.

Lauren Rubenfeld - Speech-Language Pathologist

Lauren Rubenfeld, M.S., CCC-SLP is a New York State- certified speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience. Lauren holds a BA in Psychology from SUNY Cortland and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Mercy College. Lauren specializes in supporting a variety of children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds including students from birth through 5th grade, addressing a range of needs including speech sound disorders, language delays, literacy challenges, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, selective mutism, stuttering, and other conditions impacting academic success. Lauren develops and implements treatment plans with close collaboration with teachers, caregivers, and other related service providers. Additionally, Lauren is trained in various reading and writing programs including Lively Letters, Sounds in Motion, Story Champs, and The Writing Revolution, ensuring evidence-based and engaging support tailored to each student’s needs.
