Meet the Owner

Michelle Deck, M.A. CCC-SLP is a New York State-certified speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience. She holds a BS from the University of Maryland and an MA/TSSLD from Hofstra University. In addition to her work as a tenured SLP with the NYC Board of Education, she provides evaluations and treatment through NYS Early Intervention.

Michelle specializes in speech, language, and academic support for children from birth to high school. She is trained in multiple reading and writing programs, such as Fundations, Orton-Gillingham approaches, and The Writing Revolution.

Michelle combines her expertise in communication with a passion for mentoring to strengthen reading, writing, and problem-solving skills. As a mom of two, she understands the importance of individualized support and is committed to helping each child reach their full potential.
